Urban research is where I work on a broader concern: how teams reason and make decisions in complex, uncertain systems. I work on the structure of analysis itself, helping teams clarify assumptions, make uncertainty visible, preserve the link between evidence and judgment, and shorten the loop between evidence and action. Increasingly, this involves designing AI-augmented workflows that support disciplined judgment rather than replace it.
